The 2026 Comrades Marathon is a UP RUN on Sunday, 14th June and marks the 99th running of this iconic event. Starting in Durban and finishing in Pietermaritzburg, the race distance is estimated at 87km (to be confirmed). First run in 1921, Comrades is a true test of mind and body, with runners given 12 hours to complete the course. Famous for its relentless hills, spectacular scenery, rich traditions and incredible camaraderie, it is an unforgettable and life-changing experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Packages can be purchased with or without a guaranteed foreign athlete race entry (available as an optional extra). Please note that we cannot sell race entry to South African residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
